Question by bridged · Jul 17, 2012 at 11:12 AM · website

Where can I see my asked questions?

Hey,

(Don't read the following unbold text if you are not interested in my experience with signing in at this website and the asking "platform", I don't want to bother you)

I hope This is still the right place for my question, even if it is not about unity itself but about this site and the "unityAnswers"... platform / function or whatever this actually is (it's great!). So I wanted to ask a question once, I clicked "Ask A Question" and got along the strange, in my eyes unmanagable sign in, claim and activate stuff (till today I don't know what I was actually doing but clicking around and logging in on different sites, sometimes it worked and sometimes not) and was finally able to ask a question after 4-5 different login screens, confusing information about that I am actually signing in for the site itself, forum, unityanswers and that I have to be in the UDN(?) or something like that.

So I asked my questions and tried to find it somehow again. I tried to click every link here on this site but I didn't find my question.

I remember the question itself so I could find it, but maybe sometime I don't remember questions and would like to see them.

So where can I find my asked questions?

Do you talk about this question? it's the only one in **your profile** besides this one.

You can visit your profile at any time, but it's easier when you're logged in. You can click your user name on the right side above the UA main menu.

aaaah great, that's what I was looking for.

I didn't know that there are some places I can click my username and some where I can't and that there are different profiles. Like I wrote above I think this is kinda confusing.

But thx a lot, now I'm fine with this!

EDIT:

lol I was just wondering where I can see my username to click on if I don't have the question open (I clicked my name in the right down corner of my question before) and now I see there is another username of $$anonymous$$e on this grey bar above "Ask A Question", I just saw the Username at the absolute top before.

Recently the site got an overhaul, so you login with your main Unity account on all sites. The 'claim' screen was to connect existing Answers or Forum accounts to the Unity Main Account.

To abswer the question: You can see your questions and answers in your profile page. Just click on your name.
